I cooked for a few friends over the long weekend in Canada. With the permission of my friends Anita and Rob, whose dreamy house I’d been staying in while they were in Japan, I prepped a feast of hot honey roasted carrots, miso butter slathered chicken legs baked on top of potatoes, radish tops and kale tossed with garlicky pangrattato, a maple miso salad studded with watermelon radishes and radicchio, and finally a tahini maple drizzle that served as a cold gravy of sorts.
