A marinated salmon + smacked cucumber bowl in between all the Christmas drinks and late night Deliveroo burgers (just me?)
The other day I decided that I should have boiled potatoes in my fridge, just in case I get hungry. A bowl of grains, too. And always eggs. I am not a snacker – I don’t keep crisps (because they do not last long) or chocolate in the cupboard. Instead, I eat big meals and stand at the fridge nibbling on leftovers or spooning jarred chickpeas into my mouth to stave off the hunger. Post-yoga me thanked night-before me for boiling these potatoes and for buying pre-packaged grains. The rest was rustled up in less than 20 minutes. After a week of drinking and late night burgers, I thought this might provide a bit of balance. This is my last recipe-not-recipe of the year - thanks so much for tuning in.
