Is it still socially acceptable to say happy new year? Is it a misnomer? I’m of the opinion that January is not a real month and life starts properly in February, so if you’re my friend and don’t see or hear from me much this month, I am hiding under the covers, trying to get someone to hire me to work for them and pay my invoices before the tax deadline, eating a rotation of crispy rice, beans and eggs on repeat, and actually ingesting vitamins like I say I will every year.
