Leftovers #66
Having one of those, I wish I could freeze time just for a day where I was able to sleep, cook, do errands, clean up, work and write without any distractions or FOMO then my life would be absolutely on track. Of course the reality is that I’m writing this a day late from my childhood bedroom, nursing a severe hangover, thinking about a deadline that’s been looming over me for two weeks and how I can’t seem to get the work done. Instead of tackling this like a normal adult, I’m eating cold rice wrapped up in shiso leaves from my mum’s veggie patch and dipping them into a chicken sauce from the fridge. It’s raining, I’m in bed, there’s a candle, my dad’s coming in to check on my tiredness levels, isn’t life adorable.
