Korean marinated eggs, pistachio pesto and some kitchen essentials on the shopping list

I started my morning with a double bacon McMuffin and a hash brown at Waterloo station and ended the morning sat in my parents car eating gimbap that my mum had made and brought from home. Regression tastes good.

I’ve also never been so happy that’s it’s rainy because I have the whole afternoon to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2. Immersing yourself in the lives of teenagers living out their summer romances on the coast is true perfection to my escapist brain. I’m about to put on a pot of brothy beans and relive my angsty teen years.
