Here, I am in constant pursuit of the perfect breakfast burrito. So far it’s been a vegan one (who am I?) from Kokomo, mainly judged highly for its ratio of tart pickled onions to creamy cheese and fluffy eggs (honestly I was surprised it was vegan); but I’ve heard whispers that the mushroom breakfast burrito from JJ Bean is also up there, so I’ll be sampling that next time I’m downtown. My friend Meg voice-noted me the other day and said even hearing the word ‘burrito’ made her salivate and wisely said: “but you just can’t make them taste as good at home,” to which I agreed and justified my eating a burrito everyday until I leave.
