Every time I arrive in Vancouver, I start my assimilation. Smoothies, salads, supplements; work out classes almost everyday, bike shorts with Birkenstocks; vegan breakfast burritos and electrolytes; sour beers and Okanagan wines; waking up at 4am, asleep by 9.30pm. It’s like slipping on an old dress and it makes me think about why my personality fundamentally changes with each place I spend time in (am I ok?). I am someone who pushes strollers up steep hills with a coffee in one hand. This is where I live now.
