Did I forget to press send on this yesterday? Absolutely!
Last night I dusted off the old cello and vocal cords to play with my friend Kelli Blanchett (and Ewan, guitarist extraordinaire) at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington. Kismet meant many friends and different words colliding with strange coincidences. I’ve been talking and writing a lot about localism and this felt like the real epitome of that - Kell lives down the road, we practice in the studio around the corner, so many of our friends live around there, so to play at a venue so close to home felt very special. After 30 minutes of feeling bashful post-gig, my main character energy returned. It’s Taurus season!
