'So nice to lie in crumpled sheets and listen'
I think there might whispers of balance hanging in the air – after months of oscillating wildly between tiredness and chaos, loneliness and feeling hectic, I’ve reached a state of calm that I’m sure will be rocked by some sort of drama in the near future, but I’m here for it. It turns out being surrounded by good people does solve many of life’s little problems. This week’s leftovers include an unexpected beer spritz, the web series you should have been watching in 2017, an actually gorgeous metal spaghetti measurer, a peachy bottle of white and a perfect few lines from Don DeLillo.
I don’t tend to talk to about work much on here, but we (Joe, Finn, Freya and I, of Mitre & Mondays fame) have been working hard on various projects and I’m particularly proud/excited about our newsletter which includes some spicy takes on Milan. Everyone is a true writer and has written some beautiful words, putting my career as an actual writer to shame!!
