I woke up this morning, snoozed my alarm three times, cancelled my favourite 7.30am spin class, and instead of going back to sleep, I spent two hours awake thinking about the fact that I incurred a £12 cancellation fee, had paid £15 for 10 extra credits on ClassPass just to book that class. And ever since I’ve been panicking about money, taxes and whether having a limited business means you’re just a slave to yourself. How’s your morning going? On the positive, the sun is shining and it’s a double Christmas party day for me. Pints at The Royal Oak. Lunch at Campania. Wreath making at the workshop. Pizza and wine at Crate Brewery. And only three projects to think about delivering before Christmas (we’ll park that thought until tomorrow). Just a reminder that whilst I believe life is for relaxing, enjoying and eating your way through, the reality is that you spent 70% of your time worrying about things out of your control, reactively do things that make it worse, then fall asleep and cry.
