Leftovers #30

This week has been a high-low combination of amazing blue sky days, midweek midday pints on the Thames, dumplings and noodles in unexpected places, and also crying on the floor for 15 minutes thinking about too much. But now it’s sunny and the trees are rustling and I’ve got some sort of daal cooking on the hob and a facial to look forward to. Anyone else finding it hard to equalise their emotions? This week’s recommendations are an ode to looking ahead and not back.
