After a week of doing everything – late nights, free beers, multiple exhibitions, a few parties, cycling up impossible hills – it felt like the world had stopped this week when fewer plans were made. I spent Monday early evening lying in bed after a hot shower, texting various people “last minute, but do you fancy Monday night pints?!” to no avail. Instead I made a pasta and watched Like Crazy for the millionth time and fell asleep at 10.30pm. Such is the ebb and flow of London – at times a maelstrom of social gatherings, at other times a barren desert of social destitution. I live in that liminal space in between. Here are a few things that have whet my appetite over the past week, from notions on circadian rhythms to extra ferments.
