I almost didn’t do it. Asking people to pay for my writing? Surely no one would. But a few of you did (thank you!) and as ever, no worries if not (!!). It’ll be a work in progress, but if you’re reading this, I hope you enjoy your extra couple of newsletters a week – I’ll be bringing some guests onto SNOA as well. For now, here are a few leftovers from this week.
The very premise of Leftovers is to share a few recommendations that I’ve been enjoying. My Pocket newsletter served me this piece from The Verge, all about a new piece of tech called Likewise, which hopes to use the algorithm to recommend things you’d actually want to read, watch or listen to. It all felt very meta. I prefer my recommendations to be from someone I trust, not the Internet, although I guess everything I like comes from the Internet, so who are we to trust anyway?
