Sorry to keep banging on about a set of ceramics, but Kettle Objects has officially launched on the world wide web. Earlier this week I locked myself in my room at Glebe House and spent two hours re-recording a 1 minute voice note and creating a 2 minute reel. It was fun! I wasn’t actually planning on making a website, but after my friend Pete took such beautiful shots of the cups and some very sweet ones of Alex and myself, I couldn’t let them just sit in a folder on my computer. I’m really proud of this project, mainly because I tend to have a million half-baked ideas, and they don’t always come to fruition. It’s definitely down to Alex’s immediate excitement for the project that this happened before 2025 hit. If you’re looking to master the art of cooking rice or simply love drinking liquids out of beautiful cups, these are for you.

Cruciferous salad on repeat

I knew I wasn’t going to be in for many dinners this week but I needed lunches for the office. Cue this salad that I’ve eaten about five times this week already. IMHO, red cabbage and carrots are essentials because they last for ages and make up the perfect base for a salad whenever you need it (how many time have you let lettuce go bad in your fridge, admit it). This is what’s been going in mine:
