I think I perfected the returning-from-Cornwall journey and that is by breaking it up into no more than 2 hour driving stints. I went from Penzance to St Tudy where I caught up with my friends in their insanely beautiful cottage; St Tudy to Glebe House in Devon where I stayed the night in total luxury; Glebe House to Stourhead National Trust in Somerset and wandered around the house and gardens for an hour and a half; then Stourhead to my parents house, where I was greeted with spicy Korean soup and a catwalk fashion show from my mum (aka the mother of the groom). It felt so good to eat a home cooked Korean meal, complete with spicy soup, rice, marinated chicken, cucumber salad, kimchi and lots and lots of crispy gim (seaweed).
