I’m finding life very romantic right now. I strangely feel this sensation more when I’m alone. Being around lots of people makes me feel love and loved but less romance because the ever-turning wheels of chaos leave no space for it. I’ve discovered that spaciousness is sexy. After a weekend in Snowdonia where I felt constantly humbled by the vast mountainscapes and constant green surroundings, I crave distance in a way I haven’t before. I will always seek out the quietest places and least crowded spots, even if they’re slightly less beautiful because to me, the beauty is in the negative space. In other news, the double pain au chocolat from Lidl is what you need to be eating with your morning coffee under the sweet hot sun.
