I voice noted a friend telling them I feel like I’ve finally stepped back into my life. Call it a cosmic shift or pure dumb luck or good timing, but it feels true (if not a little corny). Of course returning to the river helps, particularly fortuitous timing considering it was the solstice and the first real glimpse of summer. The thing about returning as that it doesn’t feel like going backwards when it’s right.
