Cardamom + honey poached plums
For spooning over yoghurt, ice cream or stirring into matcha and cocktails
This recipe was inspired by
- who told me she was drinking her Mother Root with a plum and cardamom syrup. I’ve never made a syrup before, but I have poached fruit in honey and water, letting the juices run and become friendly with the honey. In just a few minutes, the liquid becomes dark and thick with natural sugars. I’ve been pouring this over a big dollop of full-fat Greek yoghurt in the morning.
